Delete your account and data
Masareef is a personal spending tracker built by Mohamed Gado. This page explains how to delete your account and everything synced under it, and how to wipe what the app stores on your phone.
1. Delete your account in the app
- Open Masareef and go to Settings.
- Scroll to Delete account and tap it.
- Read what the confirmation lists, then confirm. Your account and everything synced under it are deleted immediately, on your phone and on our servers. There is no waiting period and no email step.
Receipts you chose to back up to your own Google Drive stay in your Drive, because they are in your account rather than ours and we have no way to reach them. Delete them there if you want them gone. A Masareef Pro subscription is billed by the app store, so cancel it there separately.
1b. If you cannot sign in
- Email boogado@yahoo.com from the address you use to sign in to Masareef.
- Use the subject line Delete my Masareef account.
- We verify the request against your account email, delete the account and its synced rows within 30 days, and reply to confirm once it is done.
If you signed in with Google, email us from that same Google address. You can also revoke Masareef's access in your Google account, which stops future sign-ins but does not by itself delete data we already hold.
2. Wipe the data on your device
A lot of what Masareef knows never reaches our server at all: the auto-track review inbox and the message text behind it, trusted senders, the capture diagnostics log, every setting, your cached coordinates, and Travel mode trips. You can delete all of that yourself, no request needed:
- Uninstall the app, or
- open Android Settings, Apps, Masareef, Storage, Clear storage.
Either one permanently removes the local database, the local files and the stored session. Individual records can also be deleted inside the app at any time, and that deletion propagates to the server on the next sync.
3. What is deleted, and from where

4. What is kept
Nothing personal is retained after your account is deleted, except where a limited retention period is legally required, for example records tied to a legal obligation or to abuse prevention. Our nearby-ATM cache is not affected: it stores map data for coarse geographic cells, with no account id and nothing personal in it.
Two things are not ours to erase. The first is Google Play's record of a Masareef Pro purchase — the account it was bought under, the product and the dates. Google is the seller and the payment processor, it keeps that record under its own policies, and deleting your Masareef account does not remove it. It holds no financial data from the app: no amounts, no merchants, no balances. RevenueCat's copy of it is different: that one is deleted with your account.
The second is the delivery log for account email. Verify and reset messages go out through Resend, which keeps the address a message was sent to for 30 days and offers no way to delete a message already sent. We keep no contact list or audience there. So that log is not erased with your account; it ages out on its own.
Deleting your account does not delete a backup file you exported yourself. Those files went only where you sent them, so delete them from that destination. The same holds for receipt photos and statements copied to your own Google Drive: they live in your Drive under your Google account, we never had a copy, and we cannot reach in and remove them. Delete the Masareef folder from Drive yourself, and revoke the app's access at Google account permissions.

حذف حسابك وبياناتك
مصاريف تطبيق شخصي لتتبّع المصروفات، يطوّره محمد جادو. توضّح هذه الصفحة كيف تحذف حسابك وكل ما زُومن تحته، وكيف تمحو ما يخزّنه التطبيق على هاتفك.
١. احذف حسابك من داخل التطبيق
- افتح مصاريف واذهب إلى الإعدادات.
- انزل إلى حذف الحساب واضغط عليه.
- اقرأ ما يذكره التأكيد ثم أكّد. يُحذف حسابك وكل ما تمت مزامنته معه فورًا، من هاتفك ومن خوادمنا. لا مدة انتظار ولا خطوة بريد.
الإيصالات التي اخترت نسخها احتياطيًا إلى Google Drive الخاص بك تبقى في حسابك على Drive، لأنها في حسابك لا في حسابنا ولا سبيل لنا للوصول إليها. احذفها من هناك إن أردت. واشتراك مصاريف برو يُحصَّل عبر متجر التطبيقات، فألغِه من هناك بشكل منفصل.
١ب. إذا تعذّر عليك تسجيل الدخول
- راسلنا على boogado@yahoo.com من نفس البريد الذي تسجّل به الدخول إلى مصاريف.
- اجعل عنوان الرسالة Delete my Masareef account.
- نتحقّق من الطلب مقابل بريد حسابك، ونحذف الحساب وصفوفه المزامَنة خلال ٣٠ يومًا، ونرد عليك للتأكيد بعد التنفيذ.
وإن كنت تسجّل الدخول بجوجل، راسلنا من عنوان جوجل نفسه. ويمكنك أيضًا سحب صلاحية مصاريف من حسابك في جوجل، وهذا يمنع تسجيل الدخول لاحقًا لكنه لا يحذف بذاته البيانات الموجودة لدينا.
٢. محو البيانات على جهازك
كثير من معلومات مصاريف لا تصل خادمنا من الأصل: صندوق مراجعة التتبّع التلقائي ونصوص الرسائل خلفه، والمرسِلون الموثوقون، وسجل التشخيص، وكل الإعدادات، والإحداثيات المحفوظة، ورحلات وضع السفر. ويمكنك حذف ذلك كله بنفسك بلا أي طلب:
- احذف التطبيق، أو
- افتح إعدادات أندرويد ← التطبيقات ← مصاريف ← التخزين ← مسح البيانات.
أيٌّ من الطريقتين يمحو نهائيًا قاعدة البيانات المحلية والملفات المحلية والجلسة المخزّنة. ويمكنك أيضًا حذف أي سجل من داخل التطبيق في أي وقت، وينتقل هذا الحذف إلى الخادم في أول مزامنة.

٤. ما يُحتفظ به
لا نحتفظ بأي بيانات شخصية بعد حذف حسابك، إلا حيث تُلزمنا مدة احتفاظ محدودة قانونًا، مثل سجلات مرتبطة بالتزام قانوني أو بمنع الإساءة. ولا يتأثر مخزن ماكينات الصرف لدينا: فهو يخزّن بيانات خرائط لخلايا جغرافية خشنة، بلا أي معرّف حساب وبلا أي بيانات شخصية.
هناك أمران ليس لنا أن نمحوهما. الأول سجل جوجل بلاي لشراء مصاريف برو — الحساب الذي تم الشراء تحته والمنتج والتواريخ. جوجل هي البائع ومعالج الدفع، وتحتفظ بهذا السجل وفق سياساتها هي، وحذف حسابك في مصاريف لا يزيله. ولا يحتوي أي بيانات مالية من التطبيق: لا مبالغ ولا تجّار ولا أرصدة. أما نسخة RevenueCat منه فمختلفة: تلك تُحذف مع حسابك.
والثاني سجل إرسال رسائل الحساب. رسائل التوثيق وإعادة التعيين تُرسل عبر Resend، وهي تحتفظ بالعنوان الذي أُرسلت إليه الرسالة ٣٠ يومًا ولا تتيح حذف رسالة أُرسلت بالفعل، ولا نحتفظ لديها بأي قائمة جهات اتصال. فلا يُمحى هذا السجل مع حسابك، بل تنتهي مدته من تلقاء نفسها.
حذف الحساب لا يحذف ملف النسخة الاحتياطية الذي صدّرته أنت. فتلك الملفات ذهبت حيث أرسلتها أنت، لذا احذفها من مكانها. والأمر نفسه ينطبق على صور الإيصالات وكشوف الحساب المنسوخة إلى Google Drive الخاص بك: فهي تعيش في Drive تحت حسابك في جوجل، ولم تكن لدينا نسخة منها أصلًا، ولا نستطيع الوصول إليها لحذفها. احذف مجلد Masareef من Drive بنفسك، واسحب صلاحية التطبيق من أذونات حساب جوجل.
